Asbestos funding into asbestos related diseases.
The British Lung Foundation (BLF) is due to announce funding opportunities for research into diseases linked to asbestos. The BLF has full support within the health industry for example from the Medical Research Council and the Department of Health. The research will be welcomed across the asbestos and construction industry as well as by members of the public. The dangers of exposure to asbestos has been known for many years and many deaths have been linked with asbestos; and there are still more to come. It is hoped the research will provide better treatment and care for sufferers of asbestos related diseases.
